Really nice and sweet. We call him teddy bear. Took French feminism with him and it really made me think. kept taking his French classes, ended up majoring in French because I enjoyed his class so much.

I minored in French at Salem and had Dr. Ljungquist for the first 5 semesters of college. His classes were always the ones I didn't mind going to. He's so fun and one of the smartest people I know. Every student at Salem should take one of his classes. It should be required for graduation =D

Knows what he's talking about and how to make a boring class interesting. Always willing to make exceptions for students who are geniunely in a bind, but won't let you pull the wool over his eyes. Do wish he'd spent a little more time teaching and less time entertaining. But still a great professor.
