Seems to have issues after having lost department chair to Dr. Whitefield. Really grumpy and mean and leaves the work to the TA's without showing his appreciation for them; he just yells at them! Just wear your goggles, closed shoes, and long pants and he'll leave you alone if he happens to be inspecting your lab. I think all grading is done by TA's.

Strangely, I think its great fun to see people being humiliated in public. I looked forward to when he would come in and yell at everyone. Take this class if you enjoy watching people suffer!!!

Dr. Long is just a grumpy old man who pretends to have a British accent. The very few times he came to class all he did was complain. If anyone can think of a way to make this man's life miserable, please do it. The class is easy enough though. Long lab reports are on seek and most of the sections' tests are the same.

I can't say enough bad things about Dr. Long. He is the complete opposite of everything you want in a teacher. He rarely puts in an appearance and it seems that he lives to humiliate his TAs in front of all the students when he does grace us with his presence. He is unaccomodating and wouldn't dream of going out of his way to help a student.

This guy is the biggest **** you'll ever come across at umr and perhaps even in your life. He showed up to class once and even then he didn't teach anything. He yells at the students and his TA's for no reason. Worst teacher i have ever come across. I dont know how umr let him teach here.

I saw this dude running, it was funny as hell. I loved listening to him badmouth our class and he has a rad Eurotrash accent. I recommend taking his class if you don't mind risking a bad grade.

I hate to state this, but "Professor Long should not be qualified to teach at UMR." He is obnoxiously rude and overly pessimistic in class. However, he is nice if you meet him personally. Yet, I do not recommend having him as your professor.
