he's not as bad as advertised, his lectures can be hard to sit through, COPE is brutal but fruitful. This is an interesting class. He tries to make interesting, but sometimes he makes it boring.

Currently in Saunders clas. Saw syllabus and nearly fainted. COPE project is hard, but I enjoy my group work. You have to really want to be an ACC to appreciate him. I'm afraid of my final grade, but he is a kind soul and has knowledge and experience. One of the few profs that have actually worked as CPA!

The man is useless. He can't even do the homework he assigns. He will start a problem on the board, then get it worng, then ask us how to fix it. He didn't even show up to give us the 2nd test. You have to teach yourself. He shut his office door in my face a few times. Very unwilling to change in order to help students. His "COPE" is ridiculous and nothing more than busy work because he doesn't teach you anything. He reads the book to you like you're in elementary school, then goes over problems like you have a PhD. Avoid this man!!!

besides attendance points, it is pointless to go to class. He's not a good teacher, and test problems have nothing to do with textbook problems. I learned after the 1st test to ignore them for the most part and concentrate on the online practice tests and vocabulary. Difficult, but he does curve so work hard and you'll do okay. Avoid if possible.

He is a very insecure man. He doesn't like large classes or for ANYONE to question his decisions. Taking him in the summer should increase your grade by at least a letter, as the classes are smaller and he's nicer. I got an A, but expected anywhere from a C to an A because he doesn't really let you know how you're doing in the class.

Dr. Saunders is really nice, but his test are very hard. You will definitely learn a lot from COPE. He is very inconsistent with his grading each semester. I did better on my tests then other students and ended up getting a lower grade then want they did. So you never now what grade your going to get in his class. The grading scale is not fair.

Dont let people scare you. He's not that bad. I had him over the summer and i think everyone in the class got A's and B's. Its a tough course but it would be regardless of the teacher. You have to have him. So be nice the first week and you'll be fine.
