It's unfortunate that he is deceased, I had wondered why he had stopped teaching. My sincerest condolences to the family, he was a good man. I took his class around 2002. Great teacher. A previous poster commented about him being ****, which is absurd! Not true at all. He had a true passion for his work, and he is and will be missed....

This professor is deceased. He was a member of my family and achieved remarkable success after a very modest upbringing in rural Montana. He is the first member of our family to attain a PhD and battled cancer bravely. He cared for his students and the material he taught a lot, and he deserves to be remembered with respect and admiration.

This teacher is extremely fascinating. He posseses great charisma that makes his class even more intersting. He's lectures are clear, funny and awsome. I took this class in Intersession 3 1/2 hours and loved it, time flights with Dr. Taigen as an instructure. All my admiration Dr. Taigen.

I agree he is entertaining. His tests are incredibly difficult. His exams are multiple choice but they are multiple answer questions. Therefore the answer can be more than one choice. Therefore you must get all choices correct to receive full credit.
