Dr.. Bailey is without doubt the hardest professor I have ever had, but also the best I have ever had. He works to make sure that you understand difficult concepts . I tried to Google solutions to his projects, but I discovered early that wouldnt work. He really cares about students, is easy to talk to, will meet anytime. He answers emails!!

While Dr. Bailey is a decently tough grader, he really does care. I had his honors class and he would still go over every little thing. He is huge on respect and a great advocate for students. He also gives plenty of advance notice on projects, and since he will always help you, there's really no excuse to do bad unless you just don't show up.

Dr. Bailey is one of the hardest teachers out there. But he is also fair, knowledgeable, and a good teacher. I feel like his assembly class is built to be a 2 semester class, squished into 1 semester. If you aren't extremely bright, you will retake it. Failure rate is very high.

Dr. Bailey is an OG teacher. Don't expect to be given any slack, because he won't give you any. What he will do is work with your for as long as it takes for you to understand a concept, or why you cannot get your program to work. He can be a little strict, but he is a super nice person. Very cool to speak with outside of class.

Dr. Bailey is a great professor. I was in the honors section and he made it exciting and challenging. I wish he was teachng 1260. He works you hard but you really will learn. He does not like cell phones so dont let him catch you texting.

Dr. Bailey is the best teacher I've had at ETSU. He puts a lot of time into making sure you know the material, gives great lectures, and makes you work hard. But he makes you work hard because he really cares about his students. He's answered emails at all hours of the night. Come to class, put a lot of time in on projects, and study.

He is one of the best professors I have had here at ETSU. He really knows assembly language. When he says "you better know it", you better. I learned a lot from him. Get started right away on his projects. He is strict about turning everything in on time. But, he does care about you. He answered some of my emails at 3:00 AM - always ready to help.

Bailey is easily the best teacher I've ever had. He is a true disciplinarian that has rigorous expectations of his students. This is a double-edged sword, however. You will progress very far and learn a great deal if you work hard. If you slack off, you will probably fail. Also, he doesn't use powerpoints so the lectures aren't dull.

Doctor Bailey's class was challenging from the first day of class to the final exam. There are high expectations on every assignment you turn in, and he will let you know in exact detail what you did wrong, which is to your benefit. Study hard, devote sufficient time to projects, make sure assignments compile, and ask questions when needed.

One of the smartest professors on campus and in department. If you have to take 1250, take him. He assigns homework that helps prepare you for weekly quizzes. I wish he taught 1260. I miss his class so much. Take him, trust me. The class wasn't easy. He was sick for some of the semester, so he got behind on grading.

Dr. Bailey is an amazing professor, and he has inspired me greatly. His lectures are great and he gives very detailed feedback on the projects and quizzesexams. But he is also a tough grader. Dr. Bailey's 1250 class is not too hard, as long as you put a lot of time and effort into it.

Dr. Bailey is an amazing professor. However, in Assembly Language, simply working hard will not get you an A. It takes both dedication and skills to get a good grade, especially if you have a stacked semester. This class will show you if you really should be a CS concentration or not. However, Dr. Bailey is the best professor I've had by far.

Dr. Bailey is the most challenging professor in computer science that I have had, and definitely my favorite. I have had to work really hard and all the quizzes gets a little much, but they did help me keep up. He always answered my email questions, sometimes even late at night. Be prepared to really work in this class.

Assembly is the hardest class I've ever taken, by far. Luckily, Dr. Bailey is one of the most knowledgeable professors I've ever had. Seriously, his code makes mine look laughable. He is not for everyone, and you may very well hate him, but he is one of my favorite professors I've had. Buy the book, he won't use it but you will, and study. Tons.

This class is very difficult. If you have taken 1250/1260 and think you're ready because you aced those then think again. Dr. Bailey will bend over backwards to teach you. Just keep in mind that no matter how good you think you are if you don't take this class very seriously, study intensely, and start your projects quickly you will be hurting

Assembly Language is extremely hard with Dr. Bailey. He is great teacher, but this class is meant to weed out the students who shouldn't be in CS. To pass this class you must work extremely hard otherwise you will NOT do well. If you are also in data structures you are in for a rough semester. I love the class, but you will be VERY busy.
