Boring class. As long as you go to class and take the notes and study them you'll get an A on all the exams, I did :). Also, he gives pop quizzes, another reason to go to class. I wasted money buying the textbook, it has dust on it.

Horrible.He has no idea what he is talking about and if you have any Psych background you will probably do bad in this class because a lot of his information is seemingly made up.He is also very insulting to the differently abled population and talks as if we should assume none of them can do anything.He needs 2 B FIRED.Like yesterday!

This class needs to be updated big time! His info is oversimplified and lacks important details. He can't hear very well so often doesn't understand questions. He goes too slow with content and often needlessly rambles. Tests are pretty easy. You'll get more from the book than him. ISU please replace him. The subject deserves better teaching.

Not very helpful, lectures are hard to understand, and does not give out study guides which is vital because there is a lot of material that is covered in each lecture. Also, attendance is not mandatory but there are surprise pop quizzes!

He is a funny man, definitely entertaining during class. You take a LOT of notes. I recommend taking them on your computer if you don't want your hand to cramp. Attendance isn't mandatory but there are random pop quizzes during class. Study your notes & maybe read the summaries in the book & you'll be fine.

Means well. I only went to this class about 6 times this whole semester and ended up with a B+. Also there are tests out there so try to get your hands on one of those. A little ove half of his currents tests have those questions on them. I never even bought the book either...Good Luck.

I liked Abelson a lot. He kept class interesting. The only grades are tests. Go to class and study the notes and you should be pretty well off.
