Sometimes he did not teach the material he thought he taught. Or sometimes the homework was above what we learned in class. He was very reasonable though, holding extra office hours and even extensions. Midterm was a killer. Final was pretty hard too. If you hated ENG 103 this class will make you love fluids again! :)

He is amazing. Event though he is one of the most famous Limnologists on the planet, he still has time to meet with students and always explains everything clearly.

My very favorite professor. When I first considered the class a friend told me he was Turkish and barely spoke English. A bad joke. Now I want to take every class he teaches. He is remarkable and his interest in his field is infectious. He is funny, warm and knowlegeable.

I have taken two classes from Professor Schladow and he inspired me to change my career path. He is really helpful if you go to his office hours. For a famous professor he is very approachable.

he's funny but he really isn't helpful at all. we had to beg him to hold office hours for our final. he's not there for the tests. the final is 60% of your grade and gives no practice final. he uses a different book to teach so sometimes it's difficult to find what you need. homeworks were ok but sometimes long. he answers questions vaguely.

He's a good guy and can teach well. He was gone a lot the one time I had him, but he still did a good job, so i don't blame him at all. My friend had him after and said he was great, and he's definately qualified. Nice accent too

Prof Schladow did a pretty good job of teaching the material but due to health reasons, was unable to come to about 30-40% of the lectures. He's helpful in office hours and tries to be clear in lectures. I had no problem learning the material so he did his job well enough. Midterm was challenging but the final was difficult.
