He relies too much on powerpoints in his lectures for my taste. He clearly knows his stuff, but never teaches without clicking through slides. The Microeconomics portion of Econ 11 is a lot of theory and applied principles, so if you have trouble with that, make sure to join a study group, get a tutor, or go to office hours.

Pretty personable, but far passed his teaching prime. He puts forth almost no effort when it comes to class, often showing up and reading right off the slides (which have clearly been used for years). Quizzes are the only reason anyone ever showed up to class, and the problem sets were so poorly constructed that they were a waste of time. Avoid.

Really wouldn't advise taking his class. A nice guy, but really doesn't have any business teaching intro courses and has trouble explaining difficult concepts to people who aren't the most adept economists.

Though it was probably the hardest class I've taken in terms of the level of dedication and work to keep up with material, it was always current, effective, incredibly interesting, and fun. The tests were hard but fair (probably should've studied more for the second one since that doomed my grade), but if you keep up with the work it should be ok.
