Cons- did not enjoy this class at all. Lots of difficult readings, notes arent helpful, tests arent easy. Pros- responds quickly to emails and two chances to take tests. Im a hard worker and had a perfect GPA and now its ruined.

Prof. Cronk is a fair teacher. In order to succeed in his class you must participate. His assignments are creative and really allows for hands on experience. He is a tough grader, but he does want his students to succeed. Prof. Cronk is very approachable by both email and telephone. He responds quickly and cares about his students.

Prof. Cronk was great. Took him for an online religion of the world class. He was extremely clear about what was expected of you - literally told you exactly what you needed to do, how to do it, and when to do it - in order to get a good grade. He also responds to emails quickly and seems to genuinely care about his class.

He is a tough grader and makes you work hard. Do not fall behind and log in daily to post as this is rewarded. It was an on-line course and I would take a class with him again but be prepared to work as this is not an easy A.

Professor Cronk offers students a chance to actually learn about Philosophy. This was not in any way an easy class, but if you work hard you will get a good grade. He offers many ways to reach out to him if you have any questions or anything is unclear, which was great for an online class. Overall wonderful professor.

professor cronk was awesome. his tests were a little tricky but as long as you participate in the discussion and do the readings you should do fine. I got an A however, I did do the reading and I did participate in the discussions at least once a day. Definitely recommend him!

Did not like him what so ever. Bi weekly discussions where if you don't post more than 20 times, you'll get a bad grade. He responds to students with his sarcastic attitude and makes you feel like your thoughts and opinions are done. layout of the class was horrible. Would not take again ever

This professor does not try and help at all. His website on moodle for the assignments are unclear. He sent me nasty emails and was being very sarcastic when trying to get him to explain something. Do not take him.

Professor Cronk is one of the best teachers at Bergen Community College and I highly recommend taking him. The course material was interesting, the online discussions were engaging, and the tests and papers given were very straightforward. From the get-go, the grading rubric is made very clear and entails specifics of what it takes to earn an A

Dr. Cronk's Intro to Philosophy class was definitely challenging but very worth it if you are interested in the topic. It is quite a lot of work, but Dr. Cronk makes it easy to follow and interesting. I took his class online, and I feel like if it had been any other professor I wouldn't have done well at all since philosophy can be hard. Take it!

He’s fair & very committed to the subject matter. Online discussions are extremely involved and LOTS of material to cover. The philosophy side of it was boring and the Christianity segment not relevant to today, which the book also lacked. But he’s very responsive to students who do not understand something. I would definitely recommend his class.

I took him online and this course was very intense. You must keep up with all the discussions and be aware they are graded by other students! He is a great professor writing the book that comes with this course and he is personable but you must keep up with the work and do well on the online test.

Professor Cronk was a great teacher, a world of knowledge. He knows this subject and he teaches it thoroughly. He is not easy, he requires you to do the reading and the work and the tests are hard but if you participate and read what you're supposed to, you'll do ok. I would totally recommend him to friends. I learned so much from his class.
