2 papers & essay questions for the midterm & final. More of a history class, but is extremely knowledgeable and helps you to appreciate your faith more. don't need to be religious to enjoy the class though. offers extra credit. He's funny and will always say "in the class you should have taken, but haven't" referring to CPI. Great professor!

Dr. Demacopoulos is the best professor I've had at Fordham so far. He doesn't need notes when he lectures, he just speaks from memory. He is so intelligent! 3 3-page papers with thought-provoking questions, midterm, final. You need to do the readings in order to understand what's going on, especially if you aren't religious. Take him if you can!

Prof. Demacopoulos is great. He changed the format of the Byzantine Christianity class to focus on three persuasive papers (3 pages), a midterm, and a final. Readings are always a reasonable length, and lectures are interesting. He cares a lot about grammar, so have someone read over your papers. Definitely take if you have the chance.

Took Prof. Demacopoulos for Byzantine Christianity. Overall a good experience. He is a great lecturer and very interesting speaker. You're graded on 3 group papers, a debate, midterm, and final. Make sure you have a good group or take this class with a friend because most of your final grade comes from those group projects. Not an easy A.

The best teacher you will ever have at Fordham. He is a hard, but you will be thankful for it. He's witty, smart, and kind. If you show that you are putting in effort, then he will be there to help you. If you are at college to learn, take one of his classes.

Dr. D is a fierce grader and really expects a lot from his students, especially from a freshmen level course. However, if you are looking to really improve your writing and consider topics in a different lights, he is your guy. You will get out as much as you put in, and if you put in a minimal amount of work expect a low grade.

If you are looking for an easy good grade, Dr. Demacopoulos is not the professor to take. Yes, he is a very, very smart and nice man, but he is an extremely unfair grader and not the best teacher. He harps on speaking articulately and writing well, but I can't even tell you how many mistakes I've caught him on. Practice what you preach.

Dr. Demacopoulos is one of the best professors, if not the best professor, at Fordham University. Not only is he personally a genius but he makes his lectures intriguing and interesting. Take as many of his classes as possible.

Dr. D is one of the best Theology professors at Fordham. He challenges you in a way that makes you want to improve. Yes, he does hold high standards for his students, but he offers you the tools to achieve them. Dr. D can be intimidating, but you will come to see how nice and helpful he is. If you want to become a better student, take him!

Took Dr. D for two theology courses last year. This is not your typical theology class where everyone gets an A and sometimes theres an occasional B. This professor will separate the men from the boys, and those who truly enjoy theology will do well in his class if they put in the effort. Those who don't will end up getting C's or lower. Guaranteed

He is the most bright professor I have had at Fordham so far- and he knows it. Took him for CT&P 1. Class was 5 in class essays and 1 final. He's a hard grader but if you put in a lot of work, you'll do fine. Worth taking his class!

I can say confidently, as I'm on my way out of Fordham, that he is the best and most influential teacher I've ever had in my life. He pushes students not be coddling or complimenting them, but by demanding a good performance. He's kind of intimidating but it's motivating. Everyone should take him at least once.

Guy is off the charts intelligent. Take him. He is very hard but if you show up to his class the grade really doesn't matter. Probably the best professor I've had. Also class feels like a history class which is nice as opposed to theology
