Worst professor I have ever had. He is mean during office hours and makes students feel stupid for asking questions. He is terribly difficult to understand in lecture and has poor handwriting on the board. He will teach you nothing and you will have to learn all the material on your own. I am paying for him to give me tests, not to teach me physics

Either you teach yourself, or you fail. He simply does not care about helping the student through the problems. So arrogant about his intel, acts like he's unappreciated --even though he's tenured.

3 tests + final worth 40%. He's often pretentious out of class and could be seen complaining about bad students with the dept head. No partial credit on tests! Class test average was always under 39%. Highest grade in the class was B-. He does not curve (yes, many got a D/F). If you want a B or higher avoid at all costs, ESPECIALLY in the summer.

His pre-lab lectures are pretty clear, and note taking is easy - basically spells out the theory for your lab report. When I started the labs, I sometimes had no idea what I was doing, but they turned out to be very easy. Lab reports were graded easily, and the final isn't tough at all. There's really no reason not to take his labs.

Really good teacher to take for lab. Cuts out alot of the material so that you're in and out. I only remember having to stay the full 2 hours for a couple of labs. Final exam is pretty easy and doesn't require much studying. Lab reports are 80% of the grade so make sure you put effort into them.

The class is a little boring but its straightforward notetaking, you dont have to ever go. Just get the notes from someone. i did so so on the quizzes and bombed the final and he gave me a B+...HUGE curve. And if you tell him you want to take more astronomy classes, he will LOVE YOU.

i mean, rapid fire notes, deathly boring classes, and somewhat difficult tests in a number based class, but he's a good guy, I had a 49.5 test average, a 50 on the midterm and god only knows wut i got on the final, I had the lowest grade in the class and he gave me a C so he's not out to get any1

A real waste of a class...the lectures are extremely boring and almost unintelligible through his thick accent...cold, curt and thoroughly unhelpful during office hours; acts like he's doing you a favor when you go speak to him. Take Minnich instead, at least he treats you like a human.

dull, boring lectures class after class with a teacher who couldn't care less about anyone but himself. Feels all students should be up to his level, shows aggitation when a question is answered, and often times does not even answer the question at hand, and his thick accent prevents a response.
