Read your book no matter what. He wants the class to be involved in the lecture and doesn't like it when no one reads before class. Be prepared to know acronyms. It's a simple class but a lot of technical stuff no one will really use unless going into a computer studies major.

Mr. Driver set a reasonable amount of homework that came directly from the lectures and the textbook. Read the chapters, attend class, don't wait until the last minute to do your programs and then you will have an A! Mr. Driver was very clear and helpful. Stop by office hours to discuss your homework and he will be happy to help you with it.

Mr. Driver is an awesome teacher, one of my favorites. He has a comprehensive knowledge of his material and will make every effort to help students understand, as long as they ask questions. Anyone interested in actually learning and not just sliding by will like this class. It is not hard at all either though! Just take notes and review them!

Mr. Driver is an excellent teacher. His lectures are always clear and concise. Success in his class is only dependent upon what kind of student you are. Mr. Driver is a professor that I highly respect.

Please do not take this class unless you can read a textbook from cover to cover and take excellent notes. Class structure is very poorly designed and students will get lost very fast. Lecture is made up of asking questions and the students answer them. Mr. Driver wastes alot of time and therefore will not go over crucial material.

Very knowledgable about programming. His lectures keep the class awake and his assignments are directly related to the lecture material as are his tests, which are open book, open note. No reason not to succeed in this class.

He is so boring. All he does is lecture for two hours. You get to use cheat sheets for the tests. You have to read alot of stuff that you won't even need to know. Only one extra credit but nobody does it because it is too hard.

Wants you to come up with his solution for a problem does not reward orginality or creativity. Very rude to any male student with long hair. He can be very un-proffesional. I quesion why he is still teaching.
