He's okay, kinda dull-but def one of the easier teachers. He has lecture worksheets, so you have to come to class, but tests are straight from the book. He does require a lot of work tho, 4 speeches & 4 tests. Be ready to work, but he's an easy B.

As far as Public Speaking classes go, this one wasn't too bad. Only saw Grice one day a week, the rest of the time it was taught by grad students. I'd recommend Grice to anyone who has to take COMM114

Grice is wonderful teacher, always willing to help, make sure you study hard to the tests, speeches are easy, prepare well in advance and you should be fine. suck up to the grad students, they are grading you too!

the class is pretty much common sense...this year he had his TA's teaching and grading his classes. I had Lindsey Lane, if you get her, try and transfer to a different TA. She's bipolar and never teaches, only talks about herself and her life.

you have your opinion but i have mine. while you like him for his personality etc i believe he is a bad teacher. I do not know what he is like as a person but I have to teach myself everything because he isnt, and i never miss class!
