On the first day of school he sent an email out at 1:30am due in class that day. He uses a very specific format for papers and if not exactly how he'd like it he will throw it out and you will not receive credit. He locks the door 5 mins after class starts and you can't leave, even for the restroom or you will be locked out til class is out. Etc.

I take his class because it was a last minute choice, i have to take his class because there is no other choice. At first it was easy, but it became hard at the last few chapters. What i like about him was he gave out the exam and we can do it at home (sometimes).

I don't know if he knows his materials or not but he certainly has trouble teaching. It is so hard to communicate with him, and he gets a lot of things wrong when he says or shows something on the powerpoint. It often takes 5-10 minutes to even fix what he said wrong. To be honest his 2-hour class can be taught in 30 minutes.

This is the worst professor in De anza college, and his grading scale will make you cry. This is precalculus, and it is supposed to be easy. He makes everything way more complicated.

lack of email response( claims he doesn't have a secretary). easily confused/irritable, forgetful, and disorganized. returned assignments will be left in the corner and he claims he doesn't care if it's thrown out at the end of the day. frequently starts class late. obvious bias towards students. favors you or says you're lazy. 6 people took final.

I hate to write a review after seeing all these other ones, I should have listened before hand. This professor has good intentions but is just not great at explaining the material well in a way that the students understand. He teaches off of powerpoint slides and he doesn't know how to explain the material to people that learn in different ways. :(

Comments for this teacher accurate! He teaches from a powerpoint, doesn't answer a question when you ask one, and is VERY unclear for what he actually wants as far as tests, quizzes, and homework goes. Avoid if possible!

He doesn't like it when students ask questions, often answers with "I don't know." Gives out pop quizzes, but never wants to go over them, students are left clueless. He told my class "I'm not going to do practice problems. What if you fail the test? Go to the tutor center." I do not recommend this class, he should NOT be a teacher.

Are you kidding me? How is this guy a teacher? He uses powerpoints to teach math and doesn't even explain. When someone asks for explanation, he says to go to tutoring and yells. He makes math more difficult and complicated than it should be. I'm skeptical if he even knows the concepts himself. lmao. Avoid this crap "teacher" at all cost.

Took Math 41 and never seen like this professor before. All lectures from PowerPoint. Doesn't know to solve problems on whiteboards unless check his slides. Tough graders and difficult quizzes/Tests. Attendance is not required but pop quizzes each week. Teaches more than 100 students, less attention to individual, more attention to his paychecks.

Docks points for not having the syllabus printed out for the first day of class. Was trying to add the class so didn't get that email. Saw a student get locked out of class for leaving to use the restroom. Teacher would not unlock the door until about 10 minutes later. Hard to understand thick german accent. Strict.

Horrible professor. Doesn't answer questions, sarcastic answers. Reads off the powerpoint(which has a ton of mistakes). Lectures are beyond slow and boring. All you do in class is just do problems off the powerpoint. Quizzes have random electrical engineering problems on them. Homework's online, that's the only positive thing.

This is probably the worst teacher I have ever had. He blows the powerpoint and he will yelling at you if you try to take a picture or leaving class for restroom. Exams and quizzes are super hard and his powerpoint doesn't help anything. Do not mess up your GPA with this teacher. You won't pass his class if your math skill is weak. Good luck.

His lectures are boring! he goes way too fast and wont go back to a slide. homework is all online and most of the homework is not what he teaches us in class. the lessons are pretty easy but on the tests and quizzes he makes them 100 times harder. he has quizes on electrical engineering and stuff like that. regret picking his class

This teacher is the most unorganized, lazy, and unhelpful instructor that i have EVER had. This shty teacher just uses PowerPoints to "teach" math. He loses papers, grades unfair, and isn't willing to help students. What kind of teacher doesn't want their students to succeed? Piece of sht teacher. I came into this class thinking I'd be okay if I just self taught. I was wrong. I think you'd be successful in this class if you have strong math skills. Otherwise, do not take him. He cannot teach. Over half my class dropped. Those reviews saying ppl are overreacting - you're wrong. He's terrible
