Mark Sherby definitely puts effort into making sure you learn as a student! This class shouldn't be too difficult; his labs basically hold your hand while you learn the material. Although it is an easy class, do not make the assumption that whatever you learn is not valuable. This class could have been hard and boring, but he made sure it wasn't.

Nice, informative class. The reading materials are well organized. Tests are very reasonably formatted. His videos did not play on my laptop at home for some reason, wish he instructed us to install a particular plugin. Other than the course itself seems very interesting.

I think Professor Mark Sherby is a great teacher. I took his online CIS108 PC Security Basics course offered at De Anza College. He responds to student questions with helpful answers. His lectures were clearly understandable. I have applied things learned in this course to my own PC usage.

Great professor. He always comes to class in a good mood and ready to teach. He is so helpful and kind when answering questions. Class was online using SimNet, which is a bit pricey to gain access to (around $100). That's the only downside though. Easy and fun class.

Mark Sherby genuinely cares and strives to teach in a clear, organized manner. He's an A+ teacher. This course uses SimNet, program, to facilitate learning and exams. It's a great program, except that the text on the screen is not crisp, even if you enlarge it. I squinted a lot, it made me angry. Course also has some written assignments.
