Comment:

Easy grade BUT it is not worth it. He is traumatically offensive. He also assumes everyone is spoiled with a mom and dad, doesn't take care of themselves and straight. Refuses to take no for an answer when a student does not want to answer due to CLEAR DISCOMFORT. I was able to picture a sexual assault that I did not witness thanks to his details.

Textbook required -- professor optional. Everything is from the book, and you will be teaching yourself. His lectures consist of figures from the book that he talks about for way too long. He tells a lot of anecdotes that (very) loosely relate to the material. He doesn't go over anything that's not in the book. There are 4 tests, and 1 paper.

Professor Muugi is awful. DO NOT ever take him. He is very inappropriate in his lectures, makes people feel very uncomfortable. He talks the whole class and just talks about random things and it doesn't relate to the book. He doesn't use power points and just write on the board when he rambles on and on. Hard to pass his class!!!

Muugi is the worst professor I've had at Kutztown so far. He's hard to understand and he barely understands his students. You never know what your grade is. His class is boring and if you don't read and take your own notes you're pretty much bound to fail.

I honestly enjoyed his abnormal psych class, I thought it was super easy. He's definitely been at Kutztown for a long time because he was my mom's professor when she studied here too. He knows the material and keeps lectures interesting.

Nice guy, unqualified to teach. I've found his lectures unbearable. He rambles and uses book verbatim. If you do poorly on tests, he gives an outrageous curve: one brought me from a 50 percent to an 83 on a test. Attendance counts for 10%, but you're basically just teaching yourself anyway.

HE IS THE WORST PROFESSOR YOU WILL EVER HAVE!! You can barely understand his accent, his lectures are COMPLETELY irrelevant. He is literally the most aggravating person to take a class with. I did fairly well in his class so this isn't because I received a bad grade. Just AVOID at ALL cost

The worst prof I have ever had in my life. He is disrespectful, extremely unorganized, and he talks in circles. He has no idea how to teach. The only way I passed is by reading the textbook, that was essentially my prof. No PowerPoints, just random words on the board. He turns everything sexual,makes everyone uncomfortable. He's creepy

Dr. Muugi will occasionally misspeak. And he sometimes brought up uncomfortable subjects in class. That being said, he is a really good professor. He treated his students well and his grading is super easy. He gave an optional test that replaces your lowest test score. Take for easy A.

He rambles on about nothing and often makes people uncomfortable. Attendance made up 5% of the grade but I hated his class so much that I barely attended and just read from the textbook, and I got an A-. It was fine because you learn literally nothing form his lectures, although he wasn't happy about my constant skipping.

I know other people had issues with this professor, but I found his lectures to be enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable in the subject matter and his class is fairly easy. There was a lot of class discussion about cases which I thought was useful. He is not very well organized, which is a little frustrating.

He is dreadfully boring and hard to understand. Going to class is torture but your attendance counts as a grade. You have 2 papers (4 pages and 10 pages) a quiz, mid term and final. the quiz was easy, midterm and final not so much. I wouldn't recommend taking him

He is one of my best psy professor, he explain things clearly. i wished if i am psy major, i would take all my psy classes with him. the only advise i can give you guys is to come to class everyday end read your book because everything came from the book. good luck.

AVOID IF ALL POSSIBLE. I did get a B in the class, and I rarely went to class. It is absolutely dreadful to try and understand him due to his thick accent. Tests are not consistent with lecture, only the book. A few simple assignments - he is a decently fair grader. Read and do assignments and you'll pass.

He is so confusing when he talks.. but if you bring the book to class with you and highlight the information from the powerpoints in your book (he takes everything verbatim from the book) and just read over them before the test you will be fine. His tests are out of 60 questions but only worth 100 points so no matter what you have to do well.

Muugi talks on and on about nothing. His tests have nothing to do with either the text book or his "lectures." His stories go on for minutes at a time and generally end up making you feel uncomfortable. His classes are easy, so if you're looking for an easy A or B, take him. If not, avoid!
