Professor Singh is great. Does not check the homework, most quizzes and exams are online. Goes over a problem until it is clear. Does not reply to emails though, still a cool guy.

Comment:

A pretty good, but overall tough professor. Has an awesome accent that you'll fall in love with and find everything he says funny. You do need to pay attention in class, though. He LOVES calling out troublemakers/daydreamers in class and will make fun of you if your answers are wrong. Mainly gives homework on WileyPlus. Would take again if I could.

Comment:

One of the best Professors in the accounting field, he makes accounting so easy. All the tests and homework was online , Final is in class. He always talks about his work and experience in the accounting field during class which is very interesting.

Tbh this professor jokes too much, the final was in class even though on the syllabus it said it would be in Wiley plus. He will not give you a review. He doesnt care about his students. Dont take him. Stay away and on Wiley plus he only give you 3 attempts or 2 attempts instead of unlimited attempts

Singh is King... in accounting. He gives a lot of HW which is good because in end it will really boost up your grades. All HW is online. His exams are slightly tricky but if you study you won't have any issue. He is understanding of the student's perspectives and will give online exams if you can convince him to do so. Final is in class though.

Comment:

Prof Singh is one of the best professors I ever had. He is very knowledgeble and explains the material so that anyone will understand, constantly makes sure nobody is confused or lost. He has great sence of humor too. Everybody waits for his classes to open up.

Comment:

One of the best professor I came across. It's not mandatory for you to go to class anymore, but I do suggest going to Pro. Singh classes, listen to him carefully and apply his teachings when you put some work in for yourself. You cannot go wrong with a professor like this. Not an easy walk over, but he cares for everyone who takes his classes.

I don't have much to say as the other reviews say everything but reading the textbook is a must! If you don't understand a chapter you will fall behind in the class! Other than that, professor explains everything clearly and knows what he is talking about.

If you ever need help, I highly recommend to ask questions or go to his office hours. He makes accounting alive, accounting is like basic math and he explains really well and do examples on the board.

He is a very knowledgeable professor. Even though most people don't understand the work he makes sure you learn in the simplest way. The only reason why I got a B- was the homework percentage because i never kept up with it. So do the homework and do well on the test easy A

TAKE. HIM. I failed Accounting 1101 when I took it the first time and came out of his class understanding so much more. He has a sense of humor, posts reviews on Blackboard, and is always there to help you. If you're nervous about this class- TAKE HIM!! Would take again.

HE IS AMAZING !!!! TAKE HIM !!!!!!! One of the best teachers in accounting field ! He is funny, and he likes to joke around and tell stories. He is really passionate and he wants to really teach you. Hybrid class, but tests were in class. You will not regret it, trust me! He is over qualified in his field, knows what he is talking about !!!

Belive what you read in the other reviews. The man truly enjoys accounting, and as such is able to bring genuine passion into his teaching. He explains concepts in a very common sense and easy to understand, incremental process. Wish i could transplant him into my other classes.

Came in thinking i would hate accounting because of my priors with math ..but Singh helps you understand the stuff...MAKE SURE YOU READ THE BOOK AND CHAPTERS HE ASSIGNS....if not you will fail..very funny guy wont get bored even holds online classes to help...GETS NO BETTER

Read whatever chapter is assigned before coming to class and you'll be fine. If you don't, chances are you will struggle. If you don't want to put in the time at home, find a different professor. If you're a good student, then look for any class he teaches.
