Very knowledgeable professor. He went you through all the types of homework you need for exams. Pop quizzes are not hard if you did the Connect homework before class and listened to his lectures. I like his soft spoken voice, although sometimes it can be sleepy.

Lectures may be a bit dry but overall great professor. Do the homework problems and look over the powerpoint slides to study for exams. I got A's on both midterm and final. Participate by doing some of the hw problems and answering questions in class. Pop quizzes were hard because I'm not the type to study if I don't have an exam coming up.

Took this class Summer quarter (6 weeks) and there was a LOT to cover! There was an unholy amount of online homework. I got a 91% on the mid-term and 88% on the mid-term, though, and got an A in the class. Dr. Sanders was always prepared for class and is very knowledgable (he is the head of the Accounting department, after all...).

Sanders is a nice guy but a terrible teacher. He uses useless powerpoint slides, then spends hours writing problems on the board. He really doesn't actually teach. If you don't mind teaching yourself everything out of the book the class is not too bad.

I think Sanders really did a good job teaching this class. Very clear, only teaches what you need to know. There are pop up quizzes so better come to class. Have to give him a lot of credit for being one of the nicest professors on campus. I was taking 3 classes in summer with finals on the same day and he was the only one willing to accomodate.

He teaches very hard classes, but I think he does a good job. We go over every homework problem assigned in class so that way you know you have the right answers to study. Tests are tricky, but he does as good a job as anyone can preparing you. Don't listen to the people who say he doesn't actually quiz you, he does when you least expect it.

Great teacher. Sanders is trying very hard to explain things in class and goes over all homework problems. Very helpful. Lots of details - easy to fall asleep (okay, it's boring). Tests were VERY hard! I did struggle in this class but I don't think there is any other teacher who would do a better job.

This was definitely the hardest accounting class I have taken at Western. He teaches by doing powerpoint lectures some days, and going over problems on others. His tests are fairly straightforward...a little tricky, but nothing unexpected. Generally about 25 mult choice and then one you have to work out on paper. It's hard not to like Sanders.
