Comment:

George reminds me of my grandpa, he is very sweet and cares about all of his students. He loves what he teaches and always shows us a big smile at the end of class. All of the work is on Excel, he posts answers to homework, gives review sheet out for test, tests are easy they are just like the homework, gives you feedback on all of your tests.

George is great. It's a really easy class and he's an easy professor. The class is based on excel and he teaches you how to use it. As long as you respect him, you'll be fine. I watch sports games during his class. Tests are super easy

Comment:

Class is very boring and you need to pay close attention to understand what is going on. However, his tests are easy. I got As on his tests despite not really paying attention in class and not understanding what happens. You can use your review sheet on the test, so just pay attention for the review.

The class is difficult; He's unable to simplify the math explaining only one-way. Boring 'cause he's monotone (thick accent as well). He frequently messes up then gets upset when a student is still confused or gets an answer wrong. We get homework, which is due whenever and can have a cheat sheet for all exams. This teacher does not make it easier.

Biostatistics with him is easy. His notes are really clear and he lets you bring formulas/question guides on a paper for every test, really easy grader and such a cute old man. Sometimes he is a bit confusing but it's definitely worth it for the easy A.

While professor Vasu can be hard to understand he uploads written notes online and uploads examples to everything. For the tests he allows a sheet of paper with notes and his review sheets are similar to the exams. If you forget to hand in your homework he will accept it the next class. Highly recommend!!

TAKE HIM! Class is super easy (just really really boring) and his grading is so easy. Gives all the answers for homework so you don't really have to do any work and you get a full sheet of paper front and back for every exam.

the only downsides of this entire class is that you have to buy the entire textbook for just the chart in the back and he's got a super thick accent. however, you could literally only show up for the class before the test in order to make the cheat sheet for the test and get an A. he even puts up the answers to all the homework before its due

Comment:

Vasu has a heavy accent and is very difficult to understand. He allows cheat sheets during exams but it doesn't usually help considering you don't learn anything from his lectures. He is very old and sweet but not respected and not a good professor. Will most likely get an A for the class but not worth the boring lectures and tough accent.

Professor Vasu is an amazing professor. He is hard to understand at times due to his heavy accent but his notes on the board are very clear and easy to follow. He encourages you ask questions. His tests are open note and he only gives three all term. Its even open note on the final. Homework is graded but not taken seriously. Sweetest guy ever.

Professor Vasu is an outstanding teacher. He has a very heavy accent but you get used to it after the first week. He goes through each topic step by step and really allows the student to grasp the concept. Ignore the negative reviews, he allows a 1 page one-sided cheat sheet for every exam (including finals and midterms). TAKE HIM. Wont Regret it!

Vasu is the best! It's very easy to pass his class. He does have a thick accent so it can be hard at times to understand him. His tests are very easy to pass he usually allows you to bring in your own formula sheet. Always bring your textbook to class. He's very lenient if you hand in your homework late. if you're part of his class, you'll get an A

Vasu has a really thick accent that can be hard to understand unless you're really focusing on the lecture. His tests were super easy, he does practice problems for review before the test and they are the exact same on the test just different numbers. He is really nice about helping you before or after class if you need it!

Anyone could get an A, you could get every single question wrong on an exam and lowest you would get was an 85. Sweetest old man, only downfall is he is difficult to understand. Homework is due, but sometimes he doesn't collect it and he posts answers before you turn it in.

Comment:

Professor Vasu is one of the nicest people. The class is somewhat boring and at first, his accent is very heavy, but you get used to it. I had no background on Biostats, and still ended up with a good grade. He allows you to have a cheat sheet, which is very helpful. He really wants everyone to do well & make sure everyone understands the material.

Professor Vasu has very long lectures, however he really wants to see his students succeed. All of the homework answers, and methods to reach the solutions are posted online which makes it much easier to understand the material. You are allowed a cheat sheet for every test, and he is very willing to give partial credit on incorrect answers.

He may be hard to understand but if you pay attention to what he is saying its not hard at all. Always sends emails clarifying and openly says he wants everyone to get an A. Get a sheet of paper to use with every test and they are extremely straight forward. Easy A.
