I did not use the book and got an A. There's 3 exams, 4 extra credit assignments (do them all!). He gives out a study guide for each exam, and will go over every question on d2l or in class. I got a C/B/B on exams, yet got an A in the class with extra-credit. He's a real nice teacher. Oh and half of the class is watching TV!

tha's right 3 challengeing exames, you need to know the subject really good to do well on the exams, the ex.credit is you watch news and you have 10qt for 10 min on line from the news u watch in class, it was challeged. sorry but pol is not for me.

The reason why this class was easy is because he gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. 2nd is the fact that his exams are really straight forward, very objective and he doesn't try to challenge you by asking hard question on the exam. This is a first impressions rating. After 3 days of class, I can say that I am pleasantly surprised with regards to Professor Yount's teaching style. Very straightforward. 3 exams, no homework, 1 extra credit paper, 1 optional paper, 3 e/c quizzes. Offers study guides, first one is very clear. I will report again at the end of the semester! :)

Insanely easy. He goes over the test review, as other has said, the day before exam, word for word. I ditched this class a lot, because it was so simple. The tests had very simple MC questions, such as "Who is the current Vice President" etc. I didn't even take the second exam, there were 3 total, and still got a B. Cake.
