A great prof that really cares about her students and teaches the curriculum effectively & thoroughly. The class is made up of participation, online hw, one quiz per chapter (lowest grade dropped), a midterm, oral exam and a final. If you miss 3+ classes she deducts points. An easy A if you go to class and have a basic grasp of spanish.

Attendance is mandatory, she will take off participation points for missing class. She is super nice and a really easy spanish teacher. there are quizzes for each chapter, 2 easy/small writing assignments, midterm, and final. She'll always tell you what exactly you need to know for everything, highly reccommend!!

Great professor! by far the best professor I've had. She knows what she's doing and is very understanding. She gives worksheets and tells you exactly what's going to be on the exams, no surprises. One oral presentation at the end of the semester and one group paper. She takes roll and deducts points if you miss more than three classes.

Really nice professor, didn't need textbook, as long as you show up and pay attention in class everything she teaches you is on the exams. Few readings - very easy. Short easy compositions, short easy quizzes.

Prof. Macias is quite possibly the sweetest person on campus. She is an excellent teacher who gives great feedback and always willing to help. The class isn't terribly difficult even if your Spanish isn't strong as long as you do the work.

Pretty awesome Spanish teacher and pretty easy class. She uses the textbook for readings and homework assignments but they aren't very tough (plus she goes over the answers in class before you turn them in). Reviews all material before tests and the class is pretty laid back. She does count attendance points though!

Macias helped me understand things about the Spanish language that I hadn't been able to master after studying the language for 12 years yet she made it easy to understand. Class is really easy. You need the book. Expect homework and reading but it's honestly all easy. Class is definitely an easy A. Attendance does matter. She's very nice as well!

I love Macias! She was a great professor! She is clear and very helpful. She tries to help you learn a lot about accents and oral communication. She isn't boring and probably the best Spanish prof at SDSU. She brings in modern issues into the class. Although the class is hard in general, she repeats a lot of the material so it sticks.

As would be expected, taking a foreign language is no walk in the park. However, if you put forth the effort there should be no problem passing this class. Professor Macias is very helpful and has good methods and is very patient even with difficult students. She is also very sweet. I highly recommend her as a Spanish Profesora. I received an A-

very nice teacher and is consistent with her work throughout the year. we had many quizzes that were a little challenging. But my grade was mainly based on oral presentations. our final was easy. no midterm. great teacher. RECOMMEND!! oh and book is cheap.

Amazing teacher. I had her for 201 last year and was very happy to take her class again. She makes you feel very comfortable speaking spanish in class. Quizes aren't too hard but you do have to do a few oral presentations. Great teacher HIGHLY recommended

Profesor Macias is so nice and very helpful! Spanish is my minor and this was one of the easiest spanish classes i've taken. 5 quizzes, 4 short presentations, and a final. Definitely recommend her. Go to class, you can only miss 3
