Very hard class. thought this 102 level class would be a cakewalk. of course how can 800 years of european history be easy? Dr. Anderson knows his stuff and has a great deal of energy, but the material is very difficult.

I really liked his class. It was pretty challenging but really interesting and not impossible. He is a great professor though, but not altogether objective.

Great! Enjoyed his class and learned a lot. he expects a lot, but gives a lot back. Friendly, approachable, easy to talk to, his class is worth the challenge.

His class is challenging because of the material not his teaching. He is really good and extremely well versed--if you can stay awake through the dull material. Need to study both the book and notes to do well.

This is a 102 level class and he taught it like a 400 level. His performance the first day of class was great, but after that it was disappointing. The questions on the test are very vague and do get easier the last two tests, but why not make all test the same? Avoid if you are looking for an "A."

This is the best Prof. NDSU has. Seriously in a state that is plagued by mediocre "conservative" "in the box" thinkers , he is a welcome addition. He is like the Howard Zinn of Fargo. He was by far the best teacher i had, and i had quite a lot since i majored in three subjects.

Very versed in his field, and the guy knows his stuff. He is hilarious, and makes even dry peroids of history come alive! He does however fail one test...he cannot remain objective in class and makes no effort to conceal his contempt for conservatism.

good guy, first couple of tests are hard but last two are fun. make sure you do the study questions he gives you. about a letter grade curve. just try hard and you'll do great.
