Extremely easy class; no textbook, but notes and handouts. My class met once a week so we only had 3 tests on terms and such--go to class, pay attention, study and you will do great. Mr. Jenkins is very nice and clear. Not to mention a kickass pianist!

Awesome professor!! Truly a great teacher that makes the subject clear and concise (not an easy task with music). I already had a love and passion for music and I learned so much in just one of his classes. I wish my prior classes in music had been as pleasant as he makes them. CCAC at Boyce is blessed to have him on staff.

Jerry Jennings is a hell of a musician, and a fantastic teacher. From 1986 to 1988, I took every class that he taught. And from time to time I still go back and visit. He still remembers me to this day. He's a real world "Mr. Holland".

Prof.Jennings taught me things I didn't believe I could learn. He is kind, and while he doesn't suffer fools gladly, if you're trying, he'll make sure you learn. He's also an excellent accompanist. He was the best professor I've ever had.
