Interesting and easy class. Great Prof! Three midterms, and 1 final. And the final is optional if you are happy with your grade after the three midterms. The midterms are only 30 minutes each and are multiple choice. Attend lectures and study your notes and you will get an easy A.

Super easy class as long as you know the lecture material (either through attending class or classical notes). 3 MT's and a final, however, if you do well on 3 MT's, you don't have to take the final! He talks pretty soft sometimes, so don't sit too far away. Overall, easy A! Great filler class!!

This class is such an easy A. Go to class and take notes (or just buy them from Classical Notes). Textbook is just for 5 Extra Credit questions on each test and you can just guess. Tests are multiple choice. Gives 3 tests plus a final and drops the lowest grade so you can do well on the midterms and not take the final! Easy A!

He doesn't speak clear enough, and speak very fast. People say the class is esay, but i think its hecka hard...because you can never have all the notes (unless you buy them). Midterm style is horrible, no thinking back...Not recommended to take this class

i was very excited about taking this class but after being in it i feel like it's overrated. He's not as fun as i thought he'd be. class is actually really boring sometimes. it's still an easy A class though, just not as fun as people say it is

If you get Classical notes from an old quarter and just study those, you should get a B in the class easy (and never have to attend lecture). I did that and got a B+...and you should read the book to know the extra credit questions.

This class was not as cool as I thought it was going to be. He is an ok lecturer but can be kind of boring, and his sense of humor doesn't always work. He is a nice guy though and it is pretty easy to get a good grade without doing much.

Have to agree this is an easy class as long as you have all notes, but it's difficult write it down as fast as when he talks, which i never finished my notes......went to his oh, he acts like he's busy. When i ask help, he said go to find TA, and cannot teach a student individually.

Lectures are fun and entertaining. All you have to do is go to lecture and then study the notes for the midterms and final (if you have to take the final). There are 3 midterms and a final; he drops the lowest of the 4. I had an A after the 3rd midterm so I didn't have to take the final. Easy A!

Take this class before you graduate! The exams are straight forward as the info comes from lecture. Don't bother too much with getting the textbook since the reading is dry. Just guess on the extra credit. The videos and movie clips are funny and help me stay awake in the class.

Best teacher ever! It was an easy class, and midterms/final wasn't that hard. Lecture was interesting, he added movie clips, cartoons, and many other things to the slides to make it more interesting and fun. Take this class if you can!

it is important to attend class regularly because the exam questions are all drawn from lecture material. midterms are fairly easy if you pay attention in class and take good notes. professor russell made this class enjoyable (even though it was at 9AM)...great GE class!
