Comment:

A really awesome guy and full of interesting tips and tricks for both the course material and life in general. Class material by definition isn't the most engaging but do the homework and power through. The course doesn't really get much worse as you go on through it, just more of the same. Flynn is totally available to help you with questions tho.

Comment:

He is a solid professor, pretty fair, but his lectures are kind of all over the place. Not a fun class per day, but all helpful information. Be prepared for hours of homework each week. Definitely do all the homework and be engaged while doing it so that you will get a good grade on the quizzes. Not an easy, minimal effort course though.

Comment:

This is one of the most useful classes at Pepperdine and I recommend it to everyone. You learn the ins and outs of excel as well as learning how to do some cool stuff in Microsoft word. The textbook and online HW is super important so do that and know that he kind of makes you figure some things out on your own as he is preparing you for life.

Super smart and nice to look at. He has a great sense of humor. It is a tough class but if you do the work you will learn a ton. Highly recommend.

Super nice professor. He truly cares about his students. This class can be a lot of work only if you get behind. Stay on top of the homework, and you'll do great! Tests are not too difficult if you actually learn what you do for the homework.

Professor Flynn is a nice guy and he wants you to do well. You have to participate though, participation is huge in this class and because I didn't realize that, I payed for it. Show up to class, add to the class notes online, and do kahoot. I didn't do these regularly and he took me from a B to a C at the end... Other than that it's not bad

I took him in the Summer, and I think he was a lot less demanding than during the school year. Assignments are comprehensive but very do-able, and he always left us with lots of class time to do work in. Tests and quizzes were pretty straight-forward. He's well-spoken and engaging.

Yes,Professor Flynn is demanding. He's the only professor of the COSC 250 teachers who will actually teach you anything you will use in business. He is professional and well prepared. Those who don't like him are just lazy. He's one of Pep's best!
