Comment:

For someone who had typically been really great at math, Calculus was a bit of a wake up call. It was never easy, it demanded a lot of time and effort, but I loved it. It became my favorite class. Enthusiastic professor who clearly has a passion for what he does. I was sad to see that he's not teaching Calc II next semester.

making a transition from calc I was a big step for me and Gerry bridged the gap. He teaches so clearly that you would have to fall asleep in the class not to understand him. the gateway was a bit tough and the last exam was interesting but the final....you will be surprised how much your mind expands in this class to say the least.

Can be hard at times. If you're struggling, go to the tutor, and definitely go to him for help, he notices that and he will factor that into your grade. He also may not look like he is taking attendence, but he is and it will be factored into your grade. Do the eduspace problems, it is an easy 50 points. You get points for just doing it.
