Comment:
He is very rude, will insult you in blast emails to the entire class, his assignments and slides look like he wrote them while smashed, and all he does every lecture is plug his book. Students complained to him about the nature of his homework, so to punish us for daring to question Emperor Hanson, he assigned huge and incomprehensible project.

Comment:
To echo a previous reviewer for a different course, everything about the course lectures and homework were convoluted and much too complicated. An introduction to this subject need not be this way and need not be so confusing. The notation was a nightmare. The lectures were theoretical while the homework wasn't.

Comment:
Lectures, text, everything convoluted, unclear, needlessly complicated. Homework problems are a nightmare. And he grades very strictly on top. He does try to help as best he can, though.
