Gigi is beyond cool and nice. She knows a lot about writing and shares a wealth of knowledge with you when critiquing papers. She doesn't grade papers and allows for revisions before turning in a final portfolio. She goes over readings in class, which makes the class easier. I wrote a total of four essays in that class and it's academic writing.

intro.to creative writing. gigi is such a wonderful person. she is helpful, friendly & truly cares about her students. she didn't give grades on assignments- just comments. flexible with due dates. made me want to take more writing classes/ major/minor in writing. i would absolutely take another class with her in the future!!

Gigi honestly is a great teacher. Her class is fun and she is passionate about the topics. She leaves helpful comments on papers and doesn't assign too much work at one time. I don't mind going to her class at all. She's always laughing and forms a close relationship with her students.

it was awful! we hardly did any writing, NO reading, and she was constantly forgetting to bring things to class, cancelling our FINAL, and wasted the first half-hour of every class blabbing with her favorite students. ugh!

We didn't have any guidance through the autobiography process, it was really difficult to do it all by ourselves. We weren't taught style so most of the other students critique was on what had happened in our lives... which shouldn't ever be the structure of an autobiography class.
