If you show up to class, read your book and study the bold face terms, you'll get an A in this class. She gave out extra credit a couple times for just showing up, so be sure to attend every day. Ginny is a wonderful person, and she tries her hardest to make the lectures interesting. Would take again.

It was really clear Ginny knew her stuff. She was clear and organized, and gives random extra credit for attendance which was awesome. She's sort of goofy, but I couldn't help but love it. Things tended to get a little dry at times, but if you read the book and take good notes, you'll do just fine.

Psych 201 I took with her was only two days a week, gave out extra credit sometimes if you showed up. Grade is based only off of 5 test that have EC on them. Go to class listen to the lecture and read the chapters and you will do great. put in very little effort. 50 question test all 3 multiple choice answers

Tests based heavily on book material. Not very flexible with life situations. Attendance is not mandatory, but she takes offense if you don't come to class often. Personally I felt like her lecture style was extremely boring. She's nice enough though.

Going to class was very helpful, though not entirely necessary. She is funny and always willing to help or give you extra opportunities to succeed. The class was not too hard, but did take some work. She emphasizes in class what will be on the tests.

The only way to do well on tests is to bring your book to class and to read out of it. I learned this the hard way - the first test I just studied what she lectured on and did horribly. Seriously just read your book and ignore her, you'll do a lot better.

Ginny was hard over half the class failed or barly passed i got a 1.0 retook the class with different professor and got a 4.0. Her test questions come from a test bank of questions which are random and vary drastically. I recommend not taking 305 with her and waiting for a different professor.

She doesn't require you to use the book, but her tests are based heavily off the vocab in the book, so read all of the chapters and study all of the vocab listed. She goes pretty slow and sometimes you don't cover everything that will be on the test, so you have to do it in your own time. Only 5 tests a quarter and nothing else. Lot's of xtra cred.

I didn't really like her myself. She only taught from the book which is boring to me. I also didn't like how she only does exam and nothing else so if you are not good at taking exams then you are SOL

Ginny is a nice teacher, but has no knowledge outside of the textbook. She is unable to answer or clarify questions beyond face value, so don't ask them. Class was pretty easy, study definitions and read the chapters will do fine. Will not recommend but will not avoid either. Students who struggle do not study or read the book. Received 4.0

Not difficult, got a great grade for not studying, but she treats each theory like it's gospel and won't accept any criticism of her test questions (often poorly worded), when asked a question she simply repeats herself or the book without understanding the question or trying to explain in a different way. ok class, just play her game her way.

No real complaints. Class was ok. I am not going to try to get another class with her and i will not avoid another class with her. I honestly didnt learn much from this class and I read every chapter and passed with a great grade. That being said her classes are predictable and reasonable.

Pretty easy class. Tries to fit 50+ slides from each chapter into the lecture which is a bit unnecessary, but she'll tell you what you need to know for the tests. Show up for review and know your boldface terms from the book and you should be fine. Unwilling to hear complaints about test questions but does offer plenty of extra credit to compensate

She is not nearly as bad as people are saying.Teaches directly from the book and test are resonable so long as you know all bold terms. Not all that interesting but I did learn from this class. People shouldn't avoid her classes.

If you've taken one of her classes you've taken all of her classes every story or "example" she uses for all of her classes. She doesn't give help to students, you must worship your textbook if you want a good grade. You have to put in more effort in her class than any other you are probably taking. You are always wrong and she is always right.

This is a capstone class and she taught us like elementary kids. She gave busy work for small amounts of points. She grades papers as if she majored in English. Don't take the CEDP capstone if it is with her!

VERY BORING! She always tells personal stories (which is nice) but always repeats them! She makes her power points straight from the book and puts them all on blackboard. Then everyday she just reads from the slides (when you can do it on your own at home). I was really excited for the class and she couldn't have made it any more boring :/

Very boring lectures that are straight out of the textbook. So it is pointless to show up for class. Just read the book carefully. Sometimes she asks questions on the tests about small, unimportant stuff in the book (frustrating!).

This class was sadly disappointing. Most of the material was stuff already learned from previous psych classes and she did not put much effort into explaining the material. She would ramble on about personal experiences for half of class, then not be able to finish lecturing on material by the test but you'd be tested on it anyway. Read the book!

Professor likes to tell stories and then test on non-related material. READ YOUR BOOK, and show up for exams....you will likely pass the class.
