She didnt give you a study guide, just told you to study the powerpoints for 6 chapters which has 50 or more slides each. Her class was impossible to study for. I failed the midterm and final because she doesnt give a study guide. Allows you to have a paper front and back of notes but you dont know what to write down because of no STUDY GUIDE.

Took her for an online class and she never emailed me back. So hard to get ahold of her. I was kicked out of the testing center when I had 50 questions left on my final because I read the hours wrong. I was 0.42 from passing with a C. She never even emailed me back in regards to it. Never again.

Took this course online. Quizzes which are easier after reading material. Takes mid term and final and gives NO resources. The mid term and final are difficult. A lot of memorizing. Asked for study guide or what specifically too look over and was told PowerPoints and read. Which I did and still did terrible.

took online in the summer. discussion boad every other week. and a test in the weeks there weren't a discussion board. The entire class is based off the textbook. you take small quizzes in each chapter and then a test at the end of 2 weeks on the 3 chapters that were assigned. easy class.

Dr. Gartner is kind, caring, and encouraging. The class is well laid out and expectations/assignments are clear and easy to follow. Same schedule every week. Lots of reading but the textbook format is broken down into manageable chunks. Weekly quizzes, discussion posts, and 4 exams, last being a comprehensive one. Easy A.

I took her online Intro to Psychology class and I'll say it went well! She made expectations very clear and the tests were open note and open book! I passed with little effort! She also responded to my emails in a timely matter. Highly recommend her

Definitely made an effort to connect with the students even if it was an online class. One time, she sent us a picture of a hummingbird that was on her front porch. She's super sweet, and I felt like she actually cared about us as her students. Super helpful. When choosing your teacher, I completely recommend her especially for online classes.

Gloria Gartner was extremely knowledgable in Psych. She made the subject lively and always made the class laugh which is never easy to do. Her tests were difficult but definatly were over class material. I took her class as a hybrid and she hardly had online work except for simulations and test. She was very helpful in time of confusion. Excellent!

Ms. Gartner is so kind and immediately responded to my emails when I had trouble with Blackboard. The class wasn't overwhelming; tests were somewhat difficult. Always left kind comments and words of encouragement. I highly recommend her!
