Worst professor ever :) she never finish class even when time is up. Students finally gave up staying class and leave. Does not teach main point, just mumbling everything she knows and test is heavy. Questions sometimes confuse students. Awful professor ever. Im rating this professor because I dont want you to take her

Avoid this professor! All she does is talk about how much we should be studying and what it takes to be a student. We never actually had time to complete a full lab because of all the talking she did. Which didn't help when we take quizzes every class meeting. She also kept us over the class time many times.

This class was not a lab but more so a lecture 2.0 The professor talks too much to the point where you only get to do the lab for about 50 minutes within the 3 hour period. She keeps class going further than the end time to make up for the time she took talking. Do not take this professor unless you like professors talking for hours on end. Avoid

She is very passionate and intelligent in the subject, often going beyond the topic at hand; this will lead to less time to fully digest the lab material. You're expected to read the lab book beforehand, print outlines, and ask good questions (not obvious ones). There are weekly quizzes. 2 exams on the Ppt. with 1min per question time limit.

Comment:

I thought professor Takahashi was very motivational to all of her students regardless of the major they had. I loved that she was always so enthusiastic about what she was teaching and that alone made lecture a lot more interesting. There is no way you can fail this class if you read the book, participate in class and study for the weekly quizzes.

I''ve only been in her class a few weeks and I can''t stand it. She is very passionate about what she teaches. But I think she thinks we are high school students trying to still lecture us on life lessons. I think she wastes waaay too much class time when we could be really involved in the lab. She likes to put people on the spot too.

My major is biology so I truly appreciated her enthusiasm towards the subject. I loved that she loved what she was teaching and lectures were always very intriguing. If you do as youre expected (participating during class, finishing your classwork, and studying) you should definitely get an A.

I was honestly scared from all the bad ratings about this professor when I took her class. Yes, she tends to talk a lot, and yes, we never get out on time sometimes. However, she means well; if you have questions, she walks you through it and help you get a better understanding. Just don't get on her bad side.

I wont reccomend her. She's the type of professor asking you to motivate yourself, yet she's not willing to give her help even just a little. I emailed few questions since she doesn't have a constant office hours. Emails are ignored and she told me that I'm unmotivated. JUST WOW

Takahashi means well when she speaks about biology. You can truly see her effort in wanting her students to learn, however, she does tend to talk your ear off and to stray off topic a bit when you're in her class. She never lets people out on time. If you have something to do immediately afterwards, don't take this teacher. A+ for effort though!

Very hard to follow teacher. I found myself getting frustrated in class. She likes to give out life lessons that relate more to what your parents would tell you than what needs to be done in class. Takes zero responsibility for her mistakes. Tests are extremely difficult due to her going off topic during class, does not go over all test info.

The worst teacher iv'e ever had. she doesnt help at all and does not make herself available to students outside of class and durring class she tries to avoid helping and clearly explaining things. she is a part time teacher and i think that is why she just does the bare minimum. i dropped her class after a couple of weeks. anatomy is hard with or without a good teacher but oh man i did not like her class. boring boring boring and she's not very clear or helpful. i felt like i had to be nice to her all the time if not she'll get upset at me which was annoying. she also will NEVER let you out early.
