In my opinion Dr. Bowen is literally the best that MBC has to offer. Yes, he may ramble a bit but the man knows his stuff like the back of his hand. You would be hard pressed to find someone more knowledgable or helpful. Not to mention you have to make extra effort to get below C. He was my teacher, advisor, and mentor. He is quite simply...LEGIT.

Gordo was my advisor and by far my mentor. Having graduated two years ago, he continues to serve as a motivator to continue pursuing my goals and is more than willing to help his former students in all of their endeavors. His classes were by far the best I ever took and I will warmly remember them for the rest of my life. Thanks Gordo!

Bowen is a really good prof. if you are able to be open to what he says. He is very conservative, but he warns you the first day if class. I've taken a few of his classes now, and they have been my favorite so far. Go to class as much as possible, but if you skip a few its not a big deal- and the midterm and final are really easy.

Dr. Bowen is very obsessed with proving that he is a red-blooded American. His presentations are incredibly biased and filled with propaganda, and he presents infamously biased people's blogs as legitimate academic sources. He only likes you if you agree with his prejudiced opinions, and his grading is based on that.

I transferred from Baldwin, but taking Gordo's class in second semester almost made me reconsider. Though he regularly went off topic I enjoyed his class more than any other I took at Baldwin- really, the ONLY class I enjoyed at Baldwin. (And yeah, his eyes are amazing.)

Bowen is the greatest teacher ever! First of all, what could be better than having a spy for a teacher? Having an international drug smuggling spy for a teacher who is not only hot but is hilarious! Gordo's been my advisor, and he's a very helpful man. I don't know how I would have gotten as far as I have were it not for him and his (difficult but extremely interesting) classes. He's exactly what I expected a college professor to be: older, strict-but-silly, and very, very intelligent.
