Ineffective. Very limited engagement and his comments rarely related to text or assignments. The discussions tended to be circular. Watch podcasts and save the cash.

WASTE OF TIME!!!!!! Seriously, I was so excited for this class but he cancelled so many of them it wasn't even worth calling a class. He told stories and talked in circles but frankly, all I learned was taught by the students doing group presentations. Midterm and Final were take home essays. Those were good, but other than that, waste of time.

horrible class, huge waste of time. I'd rather have a challenging class (ir. finance 301) where I actually learn something.

This class is madd jokes. It's so easy. You barely need to do any work. You could quite possibly work for only 5 hours total for the entire semester and still get an A. Great guy. Seems like a cool dude. Gives lots of class time to do nothing. The most chillin and accomodating prof I've ever had. TAKE HIM.

The raddest part about this class was his cool english accent, it was like Keith Richards was teaching me...other than that, i really didn't learn much...likes to talk and we always watched these old school VHS's with some gnarly theme song.

Though entertaining and funny at first, you soon realize it's all just a novelty. His lectures are pointless and his assignments have no marking scheme/basis whatsoever. Tried to look over my assignment with him, but he said it wasn't necessary (probably because he didn't have it anymore).

He tells a lot of stories from previous experiences and his accent makes them very interesting. On the whole, I would say that his lectures were not the MOST informative over all, but through our group project and learning to pay more attention to things such as the newspaper I did learn from this class. Marks very easy and gives out lots of A's.

I could listen to him talk for hours! He's a crazy babbling british man but he's wonderful. His assignments and papers are easy. Let us out early everyday and gives you class time to work on your presentations.

Like a previous post, he doesn't teach! One class is spent regurgitating old slides, the other spend in your groups discussing project, or he'll have 1 of about 7 guest speakers in to do his job. And the class was graded 50 group project, 50 ind. project. This means he doesn't teach you anything.

Easy class, with a fun prof, who's always telling stories. Big group project though, so pick your group wisely
