Comment:

Gossa's a great person and I enjoyed his class, though he throws a lot at you in the beginning. He tends to point out your mistakes in class but he does so in a caring yet constructive manner. He's very energetic and I love him as a person and professor. But just be aware that he expects a lot from you in the beginning. But it pays off at the end.

Gossa lacks understanding of physical limitations. He grades almost entirely on participation alone, which means that he does not have to justify your grade. I have a physical illness that makes it incredibly painful to stand for long periods of time. He told me that if I sat down in between takes, he would deduct points from me. I was miserable.

Somehow I learned about Studio Production with Gossa's class. The final exam was extremely hard because we never went over any of it in class about what was going to be on it. His methodology is that the only way to learn the studio is by experience which i enjoy but he was very unclear on instructions and with his grading.

He's okay. Our TA was really great, and she made sure to clarify Gossa's instructions. Gossa is pretty stubborn in his ways, and prone to yelling. He is very enthusiastic about what he's teaching and will notice if you're good. Don't avoid Gossa because of these reviews - he's pretty essential to the TVR experience. (Just avoid taking it at 8 am!)

It's always a hit or miss with Gossa. You will either love him or hate him. He is a great, funny person but an okayish teacher. He can be a bit overwhelming and goes on many tangents at times. Despite all that, I did learn a lot in the class and now have a pretty solid understanding of a studio and the control room.

Gossa is a great professor. A little confusing sometimes because he is very ecstatic. He really cares about your success. Very inspirational and is always willing to lend a helping hand. The only problem I have is that his grading is a bit unethical. He tends to give everyone a B+ unless they REALLY stood out to him A- or didn't show up to class C-

Gossa means well. Sometimes he doesn't do the best job of getting it across though. We were lucky to have a great TA who helped us out if we didn't understand what Gossa was trying to tell us. I like him as a person, he's eally funny and great to talk to, but I didn't get a ton out of the class.

Gossa is a funny guy who doesn't really know what he's talking about. If you want to be prepared for the final, it's almost impossible. If you want to learn how to work in a studio, do ICTV. Gosssa means well, but he doesn't teach well.

Gossa was an interesting professor. It was such a fun class to be in, where you are actually running a studio production. But his grading is unethical. He will give every person a B+ in the class, then give an A- to the one student who stood out to him in his mind. Which i found completely unfair

Gossa is one of those professors that you have a very strong opinion of. My experiences with him have been great. My opinion is, that if he's tough on you, its for a reason, and he cares about you succeeding. Out of all my classes, this one was my favorite.

While he is unclear and tough to understand, he is a great professor despite these drawbacks. He does have the tendency to yell at his students, but he only does this because he doesn't want you to mess up. He's a very upbeat and happy professor, which makes the class very fun. He was a GOOD professor, not a great one, but he's a fantastic person.

Gossa in one word: jolly! He is always upbeat and there to assist you if needed. He loves his "teachable moments" when something goes wrong and the class can learn from it. You're tossed almost straight into making shows so you will have a good time from the get-go. Just make sure that you are prepared for class and you will do well. :)

Gossa is a fun guy, hilarious, but not the best teacher I've ever had. He's a tough grader and not all that helpful. If you study and have a good TA, you'll be fine. If your TA is awful... well then that's a different story.

Gossa is one of the funniest teachers I have ever had. You are guranteed to laugh throughout the whole semester. Sometimes he is unclear about the quizzes but he is very helpful during the projects. Would reccommend him!

Easy grade-wise but I didn't learn anything from him. I felt like it was a free 4 credits, which for some other subject would be fine- but this is my major. I would feel unprepared for ASP if it weren't for the TA and good classmates (and ICTV). Gives people a hard time about meaningless things. Be ready to paint.
