Wow, although I may not have had Dr. Gould as a professor I have had him as a Dean and I could not have been any more disappointed. He does not care for his students which is unfortunate because that is his only job. Imagine if he got off of his pedestal and treated his students with respect? Graduation cannot come soon enough.

I firmly believe that every time Dean Gould laughs, a future academic baby is born. Clear, helpful, and one of the smartest professors I've ever known. I want to be Dean Gould when I grow up.

Dean Gould is GREAT! So kind, sweet, and intelligent. I'm not really into political science, but I never had problems writing any of his assignments. He grades on a check, check+, check++ basis, which is very low stress. He even gets carried away at times and gives 3 or 4 pluses! Enthusiastic, dedicated to the honors program, and a great man.

Dr. Gould is such a nice man... I'm not much of a philosophy guy, but I did enjoy his class. Made it fun, and even though you wouldnt think it possible, he really relates to you. Its a shame he doesnt teach more classes. One thing tho, was the grading system. I hope he ditches the check/check plus system. I had no clue where my grade stood.

Awesome professor! makes you think, and really sparks great debates in class. One of the best professors I have ever had. Nice guy and really caring about his students. Really challenges the student but if you do the work you will be fine.

Amazing teacher. He knows so much and can recall it all in a second. Caring about students. Light written work, lots of reading! Great teacher to take for anything political.
