I'm not good with science and was dreading this course (and it's lab SCI-L233). Dr. Menon is phenomenal though! As long as you read the chapter or go over the Powerpoint, and then review the sample questions, tests are easy. He gives sample problems and calculations. Steps are laid out clearly and easy to follow. Highly recommend.

Keep up with assignments and you should keep up with him. Physics is a tough class. Either you get it, or yo don't. He will work with you during office hours, but he will get frustrated if you aren't taking the class seriously.

Took Menon for Phy I and II. Good teacher. Web Assign saved me because test are very similar to the problems on it. This dude is WAY too smart for his own good, though. He teaches Physics like its 1st grade math. But get him talking about Worm Holes. Ask why (mathematically) you can go back in time but not come back. He's cool and very interesting.

I had him for Physics /w Calculus I and II. Both classes are difficult, but extremely fair. The exams come straight from the online homework (which is difficult), but if you show up to class and do your homework, you will get an A. He is extremely friendly and interesting, and more than willing to help any student if they are having trouble.

Had him for PHY 2262/63. Little intimidating @ 1st. Just go to class, do hw & study.(dont get behind) It's a hard class, but if you're willing to work hard you'll get a good grade. Helps to study/do hw in groups outside his office. He is very helpful if you ask him questions. One of the best/coolest teachers I've had & gives great advice. Take him!

This professor is great! He's hilarious, gives you way more than what you paid for. His exams are very short (about 10 questions) so know the material very well. He awards a pop quiz every lecture a cell phone goes off, even if it's on vibrate, and for every cellular disruption per lecture equals how many points the quiz will be.

A great teacher. He explains things in such a way that anyone can understand it. Extrememly intelligent and funny, and I've definitely left class thinking about things he's said. Pay attention and take notes because he'll cover the entire test in class.
