The course material is interesting and the lectures entertaining. While she requires students to read the literature and write appropriately for an undergraduate level, she also lightens the atmosphere by being personable. She is extremely helpful and has an open door policy. I couldn't have have had a better professor. :-)

NO NO NO. This lady goes on tangents that have absolutely nothing to do with the subject material, which is already not clearly defined. She will attempt to drown you with her overtly Democratic views, while expecting an incredible amount of outside reading and work for an intro class. AVOID HER LIKE THE BLACK PLAGUE.

This teacher could very likely be extremely knowledgable on the topics that she teaches, unfortunately she spends most of the class period telling useless anecdotes and spreading her LIBERAL agenda. Leave the politics out of the classroom--it only makes you look ignorant!!

This teacher is a witch. She stopped at nothing to make every class go by slower than the one before. Her lectures were confused and unorganized. She will humiliate you for not stapling your paper---DONT PAPER CLIP IT!!! She might shoot you! Her tests were ridiculously hard for an intro class. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!

She's great! She's funny, easy to talk to and totally accessable. She makes class interesting and engaging. Class isn't easy, but isn't too hard. You'll be fine as long as you study and read.

She's such a great professor and an equally great person. The class was a little elementary in terms of projects, but it was also really interesting. I find myself still applying info. in other classes.

I really liked Prof. Bascope! As long as you read and go to class, you'll do fine on tests! They're not bad, just long. Also, the projects are fun and easy! She's a good teacher with a lot of knowledge! Take her!

I liked her class. I know lots of people think that it is really hard, but I prefer her essay tests to other teachers mult choice tests. There are lots of readings and projects, but I really think that the projects help grades. most are only 5% of ur grad

For an intro, this class is overly difficult. She is not very understanding at all and was never available when I went to her office for meetings(even if I made an appointment in advance). She is very detail-oriented, so expect lots of specifics on tests.

Bascope's physical anthro class is terribly difficult. She focuses a great deal on genetics and early hominid theory, and there is a lot, lot, lot of external reading.

She's a nice lady and easy to get along with, but is way too demanding for an Intro. class. She really was not very clear about the first test and it was very difficult (1/3 of the class failed it). If you just want a credit, she's not for you.

Awesome professor, very easy to get along with. Loves her students and loves teaching. Smaller classes with her are amazing and she will work with anyone who needs help. Tests are tough - all essay over several readings.
