Greg has a caring heart thats full of compassion for his students! This was one of my favorite classes I took with Greg! Do your work and show up! Dont ever be afraid to ask questions! Greg is an instructor thats willing to sit with a student and explain the criteria that a student is confused on! One of the best instructors I had!

Hardest class I've ever taken. Tests were nearly impossible, if you don't take exact notes/study your butt off you'll fail. The final is proving to be 497504x worse.. Greg is helpful, but only when you can find him. He goes to the gym a lot so he's not always available. He's passionate about the course, but a little too hard. 4/10

Class was a hybrid style. It was a required course. This instructor would work with the students. There were other ways to make points in the class other than the speeches, which really helped out in the final grade.

Very personable and friendly. Speeches are graded slightly hard but fair. Must dress presentable on speech day.

Greg is always busy, but always makes time for his students. You have to respect that because not many instructors will give their students the time of day. Greg is also great at explaining things in layman's terms so that way everyone can easily understand the technical side of things.Listen in class, take notes,do ur board shift, and u will do fine

I really enjoyed this class along with the teacher. He is a strict grader! He goes directly off of the rubric and judges alot based on participation. Overall I thought he was a good teacher.

Greg is probably one of the better teachers I have had so far. He will joke with you, and at the same time be serious in answering your questions if your struggling with something, or just general questions. He is energetic and passionate about the classes he teaches. He will encourage you every step of the way to do your best. Thanks Greg!

If you are an Athlete take this course, you'll get an auto A and love him. If you're not, well you will do whatever he says and he will still give you a terrible grade. Follows a structured rubric that the real world would laugh at if they heard your speeches. "To introduce, first, second, third and to conclude," laughabley attempted "teaching"

A stickler for what he wants, but if you follow that, you will do fine. Several quizzes with extra credit and other extra credit opportunities. Couple of tests otherwise it is speeches. Note taking from powerpoints but that is where the quiz/test material mainly comes from.

His PowerPoints are pretty terrible. They're badly organized and it's hard to learn anything from them. You'll definitely have to study from the book. Other than that, though, the class is easy enough.

Gregg Powers is terrible, he picks favorites within the class and if he does not like you then your grade will reflect that. He is not approachable and he comes off as inconsiderate. Take someone else. BTW you can work hard in that class and still fail, the first half of the class dropped out within the first week.

I hated this class so much all we did was sit and take notes from his power point presentation of last semester's text! which by the way is obsolete so good luck having something to reference if you need it. So bored! constant note taking...I thought I signed up for speech not transcription!!
