Dr. Schwab is your typical arrogant professor. He refers to the aviation department as "His World" and warns current and prospective students to "Consider his world carefully". I would not recommend this professor by ANY means. The class was directed more towards aviation news and not the course subject. AVOID!!!

I'm not sure what the purpose of the class was, supposedly Air Traffic, but he ended up talking more about ISU Aero and the aviation world than the class, and expected us to know the stuff. The final exam ended up being able to control 'airplanes' in a PC game which wasn't hard, but knowing the checkpoints and VORs around Indy...

class is very easy but Schwab normally talks just about what is going on in the aerospace department instead of what the class is about. It is a pointless class and i didnt really learn a whole lot but it was easy. You are in on most of the new stuff in the department if you take this class though!

so this chinese chick serena taught the class instead of him. it was the easiest thing i have ever endured. we only had guest speakers the entire semester. schwab was supposed to be the teacher but was never there, which made it that much better!
