Greg was great and I'm going to miss him. He was very funny during lecture and extremely knowledgeable. He genuinely cared about students and tried to engage everyone and was constantly challenging us to dig deeper and make legal arguments. I didn't work very hard for my A, but I learned an enormous amount in his class. Good luck in CA, Greg

One of my favorite classes. Both the material & Greg force you to question your own beliefs about the meaning of the Constitution. In the conlaw classes Greg is a fantastic professor in the way he instructs. He keeps the discussion on topic, encourages all opinions, & constantly challenges your opinions to force you to analyze your own beliefs.

So helpful in anything you do. Make sure you go to class and he will be more than willing to help you in anything you do. He really looks out for the best interest of his students and gives the best advice he can. If you ask him any questions he is very candid about most anything.

Lots of current events, but that's a big part of learning about the governmental system. He's very enthusiastic and passionate about the topics, wants everyone to do well and is willing to help students with anything at any time. A funny guy as well, makes class enjoyable. As long as you pay attention and do the reading, you will do good.

Fantastic prof. Best lecturer I've had so far in Morris. (3 years) Current events aren't that bad, and is one of the most enjoyable parts of his classes. He actually brings practicality to the coursework.

Online class was pretty easy. If you listen to the posted lectures and keep up with the discussion on the message board, it will be an easy class. However, I'm not very good at politics, which is why Thorson keeps it simple..(for the political idiots like me). Very recommended for those with not too much political understanding or background!

My favourite class during my entire undergraduate experience. You really get a different perspective of the judicial branch based upon debates in class. You can see that they really are a law-making body. It is interesting to see the changes that have been made economically because of these laws. (intrastate commerce)

Spending 90% of class time mulling over current events--give me my freeken tuition money back. This man does care about students, because he wants to be liked I think. He cannot come up with an original idea--something I would think a PhD should be able to do. Class not worth my time, easiest A ever.

You get out of his classes what you put into them. There is a lot of current events, but they generally are related back to the class materials, although sometimes it is a stretch. Classes are easier and cover more familiar subject matter

I like his classes...he makes the A attainable, but still manages to teach you something. Other profs make you scramble so much through the millions of readings that you don't learn anything.
