Well he is a retired Lieutenant from the one of the best police agencies in the country (Michigan State Police), so I recommend him very much. He is also very knowledgeable and vey smart when it comes to the Criminal Justice world!

Loved this guy! I was a freshman.. didn't know what to expect, i'm soo glad this was my first class! I was happy to get up at 8! the class seemed hard at times, but if you study, the tests shouldnt be much of a problem!

Professor Vanderkooi is a cool guy, I like his teaching methods, but I do have to say he does like to get off topic at times. The course Supervision and Management was ok, but the course manual that we have to read is very ****.
