I had a difficult time with him at first since he tends to overwhelm his students initially, but got the hang of the material as the semester progressed. If you're in it to learn, this is the professor to take for both VHDL and real-time programming. He's also very approachable. Word of advice: choose your project partner wisely (MCO5). I didn't.

good thing is that he knows what he has to teach to us. he explains important chapter over and over again. he tells you lots of material in the lecture lab section as long as you can get his initial or technician even due day is late he can still give you full marks for your lab work.

You know what? This guy really knows his lectures. I actually finished my project because of asking questions from him. He's a helpful teacher that could explain anything. I just don't know why people think he's hard. But I would refuse to believe that. I had him and got an "A". I would suggest you take him if your purpose is to learn.

The course is freaking hard, and Mr. VHDL Wizard doesn't make it any easier. I honestly think that there was TOO much emphasis on VHDL!! Overall he is a EXTREMELY difficult marker but covers ALL the material throughly.
