Good Professor. If you go to class and do the assigned readings ahead of time it's not difficult to get a good grade. The readings can be confusing at first, but if you do them before lecture, his explanations make a lot more sense and help to clear everything up. You must do the readings and attend lecture though or you will be completely lost.

I don't recommend him. He draws confusing graphs that do not appear on the test. Unless you teach yourself and take flawless notes, it's quite hard to achieve an B. Lecture hardly matches up with exam. Good luck if you do.

He draws so many confusing graphs in the lectures but he never uses them for the exams. Honestly if you just read the book and the required readings you'll be fine. His lectures are boring but try to take down notes word for word. He gets pissed if anyone is on their phones. The good thing is he has HUGE curves so everyone has a chance to do well.

I had to withdraw from this class. All he does is write graphs on the board, really confusing ones. Only a few of the people understand it. I know you might say economics is based on graphs and statistics, however when we took the exam, there were no graphs only concepts which was really confusing. I WOULD STAY AWAY.

Only take this class if you are comfortable self teaching. Attendance is not required and his lectures don't make much sense anyway. He won't stop to explain anything and he'll mock you for no knowing if you ask. Tests are pretty easy if you have a basic understanding of micro (self-teach).

Turn around, go back to WebReg and unregister for his section. This guy has no concept of how to teach. Literally just draws graphs and expects you to understand them without any prior knowledge. Don't expect to know your grade either cause he doesnt use the course page on Blackboard. He curves tests. If you take him, then get the book.

I don't recommend him. There is no room for error. 3 exams worth 30% of your grade. And a final quiz worth 10%. No curves what so ever. He is not the person to go for help or ask questions. I regret taking him. But he is an interesting character.

I was happy enough taking Dr. Clare for Macro that I am taking him now for Micro. No course curve and he has 0 tolerance for begging for a higher grade. Definitely read the course reserves, they are more helpful and concise than the book. Tests are easy if you can solidly understand concepts. Attendance optional, but you should go to every class.

DO NOT TAKE HIM. The first exam will trick you into thinking the rest will be easy, but they are not! You have to study a lot to pass, regardless of the 10+ point curves. The book is completely useless. He puts reserves online, and those are definitely more useful! I don't recommend him to anyone.

talks a lot, sometimes its interesting other times you just wish he would let you out early. Exams are really hard but he does give a nice curve. no homework, no papers, no attendance however he does emphasis test topics in his lectures. make sure you attend the last few classes because he gives out take home extra credit

I found him very difficult even though he was very clear. It true he does give huge curves on his exams and no final exam either. But I still ended up with a C in his class because I found the textbook not useful at all and his exam questions are extremely tricky. For those who are majoring in Econ, take him. Those that are not, look again.

If you think this class was hard, you're crazy. GO TO CLASS and take diligent notes and skim the book there is no reason to at least get a B. 3 exams and a final quiz. Do the study guides and take his practice exams. He emphasizes what's important in lecture. Not the nicest guy all the time but it's not a hard class.

Very easy class. Just go to class often, take very good notes, draw a lot of the graphs, and you'll get an A. His tests are easy with huge curves. 18 points was the highest curve I've ever gotten here. No homework. Don't need the textbook at all. Attendance isn't required. NO FINAL EXAM! Just 3 exams and a quiz with a take home extra credit part.

The WORST professor ever. His 1st exam is not too bad, but the 2nd one was impossible. It was on 8 chapters! Not to mention he talks very quick in class and refers to us as "people." He curves but not by a alot...maybe 5-7 points. His lectures are SOOO boring and he is a terrible teacher. Do NOT recommend, run and hide.

Hard class. He talks clearly and is easily understood but his exams are tough. I wouldn't have gone to class but I can't stop staring at him. He looks like a greek god and literally makes me tight in the pants. The wings on the side of his head are the icing on the cake. Take this professor, you won't be dissappointed ;)

He knows his stuff, but he absolutely DOES NOT know how to teach! You have to teach yourself for this class. Have the book with you for every lecture and make note of what he covers, then only study that for the test. Also do the study guide problems only on the topics he covered and only practice the problems he does in class and you will be OK.

This professor on purpose speaks fast so you don't understand, moves fast to confuse you, makes the tests very hard and tricky so you can fail, does no review, answers no questions, and if he does, he does so with an attitude, calls us 'people' and tells us constantly to withdraw from his class if we can't handle it.
