Rude and mean in a passive aggressive way. His test questions are pulled from thin air. Read every chapter assigned and all of the sub sections and take the best notes of your life if you want to pass. Go to every class if you want to pass. Do the assignments he gives, they are crucial.

Great teacher overall. But besides the teaching, also has a great fashing sense. Hawaiin shirts and wool sweater for days. Legend has it, if you stroke his mullet after class you will receive bonus points.

His class is the most boring thing ever. Had him for physical geography and wanted to shoot myself every time I had to go. His mullet and Hawaiian shirts are just disturbing. All note based. Don't even buy the book! Exams are tricky so be careful

Had him for Intro to Env. Science and thought it would be easy. It's not. He's SO monotone and boring to listen to, making it difficult to take good notes. He gives really in-depth questions to make the test difficult. Avoid this class if you can.

I absolutely love Dr. Faiers. Earth & People was one of my favorite classes this past semester because he's so laid back and his use of pictures and charts really helps. He e-mails all the links of his visual aids to you so you can study from it. Very easy class and I would have had an A if I would have studied for the third exam.

Had him for earth and people, night class. It was long and lectures could get boring. Class is all notes, along with maps and graphs he shows you online. gives 3 exams and an optional final. imo not a hard class. we never used the book at all. Also seems like a pretty cool dude

Dr. Faires is the worst teacher I've ever had in my life. His class was pointless, and he makes a lot of concepts more difficult than they actually are. I hated that class, listening to him, and I don't recommend him to anyone.

I hate this class. His tests are hard because you never know what will be on them...there are always a number of things I don't remember learning or didn't think to study as much as I should have. And he doesn't curve. However, if you know the states and countries he says you need to know, you get easy points for labeling those on a map.

I really enjoyed this class even though I didn't expect to. The class seemed to fly by. You have to pay attention and take notes on everything. I didn't even need to read the book, but I had to memorize everything from my notes. The first test seems difficult, but the following tests aren't bad.

This guy is awesome. The final is optional and the other tests arent that bad. You have to pay attention in class and make sure you take lots of notes!! There is very few homework so your grade is mainly from your tests. He tried to make class fun. Study alot and you will do well.

Very helpful guy, took time to explain topics before going on to the next. Very orgainized in discussion and easy going on tests and papers. Tests are straight from notes and dont have to bother buying the book. Recommended to anyone wanting to increase GPA.

you never know what kind of question he may throw on the test...so make sure you take good notes and study everything. make sure to know your countries and states, easy 10 points there. optional final is sweet. there are a few easy class assignments too.
