Dr. Potts is by merit of her career extremely knowledgeable and prepares her course in that respect. Learning outcomes are clear and the tests are expectable. You have to practice to succeed and I suggest being actively involved. She can come off as intimidating but genuinely cares about your success. Make appointments, she doesn't like pop-ins.

I took her for Chem 2 lab. She explains things very well and her midterm and final are really easy! I made a C in chem 1 lab and I made a A in chem 2 lab. Make sure you remember Significant figures and units! She is willing to work with you. She is the best!

Professor Potts is a great chemistry teacher! I was so nervous about taking this class, but she is an amazing lecturer and gives very clear instructions and expectations. I would definitely take her class again.

I loved her. She made the material crystal clear but if you still don't understand, feel free to ask. She is very helpful and enjoys getting to know her students. Study and her tests will be a piece of cake. She tells you everything that will be on the test and even has all her old tests with solutions online.

Comes off pretty harsh, but after a few classes and talking to her, she lightened up. If you have a question, she does not hesitate to help you. The only thing is that her study guides for lab are not very clear.

She is a great teacher. She comes off a tad harshly initially, but she does seem to truly care about the students in her class. She is very willing to help, and if you have trouble with a problem, she will basically give you the answer. I would take her again.

Dr. Potts is first and foremost the best professor I had my first semester of college. She gives extra credit for attendance on your tests and has easy to follow power-points every day. She will devote the class before a test for review and works helpful examples. She also drops your lowest test grade! Strongly and highly recommended!

Dr. Potts is overall the best teacher in the Chemistry department. She keeps all her notes and previous tests and answers online so you are completely prepared for everything. She also takes a day to review homework problems and answer any questions. She gives bonus points for attendance so come to class! If you take Chem 121 TAKE DR. POTTS!

Dr. Potts is a fantastic professor. She is clear and focused when teaching and provides all the help you could ever hope for. She allows students access to tests from previous semesters, which come in very handy. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, without a doubt.
