I have her for Online Sex and Gender 3200 and the online is horrible. She is horrible with grading and very picky. She has information in other documents other than the syllabus. She takes off points if you go under or over the word count. The discussions have to be done every week or you get a low grade and grades if you read all 255 posts.

She goes off of tangents, contradicts herself, teaches word for word out of the book, forgets what she is trying to say, and she doesn't explain assignments that well. Test questions on the first test were ambiguous, and you MUST read each chapter in the book to get at least a B on the tests. I honestly think this woman forgot how to teach.

She is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. She is not helpful at all, and her lectures are ridiculous because she always goes off into useless "tangents". If you can avoid taking her class, I would.

I had her this semister for Sex and Gender and American Family. She is a nice woman, but her test are really hard and her lectures are scattered If you want to pass the class you have to read the book and teach your self. Nice woman, but poor teacher. I would not take unless I had no other options.

Unhelpful, always negative feedback. I am a senior with a 3.51 cgpa, and I have never had so many issues with a professor. Not sure why she continues teaching, considering she obviously dislikes it so much.

Was one of the most boring classes, she does not clarify assignments and seems to have an attitude when you do not understand. Takes entirely to long to get assignments back to help with the next assignment. Tests were ok. Project was a joke.

Dr. Stanger has to be by far the worst teacher I've ever had to date. I almost dropped out of school due to her monotonous classes and required attendance. Be sure to buy the book as it is used from cover to cover. Take my advise and do not take her for two classes in one day. --AVOID THIS TEACHER AT ALL COSTS--

Had her for family class. Only went to class because I had to. Lectures boring and make no sense. Read the book yourself if you want to do good in the class. Be sure to show up to class too. She takes into account people who she sees every class meeting.

Gretta is by far, the worse teacher I have ever had. From Pre-K-present, not one other teacher comes close to the amount I despise Gretta. Lectures are pointless and random, and too abstract to follow. Her tests are ridiculously hard, and the text book sucks.

In American Families, you have to come to class to hear the boring lectures that have nothing to do with the test. The test come straight out of the book...very hard...study like your life depends on it. The best thing to do is try to get others to join in class discussions so she will shut up for a few minutes.

Dr. Stanger is not a good teacher. She doesn't stay on topic well. She doesn't want to talk about her own opinions in class so she edits what she says and makes the class hard to follow. The material is easy as pie to understand but her test are super hard. I dreaded class every day. I can't help but feel sorry for her though.

The worst mistake of my college life. She likes to cut you down, she disrespects her students, talks down to you. There were times when I almost walked out because I refuse to be insulted, and that's exactly what she does- she insults your intelligence more than she talks about the material. Her Dr. title has went to her head.

This class was so useless! I hated coming to class! All she does is ramble about stupid stuff! She makes you write papers (which is fine w/ me) but I thought this was a sociology class, not english! DO NOT TAKE UNLESS YOU REALLY HAVE TO!

Professor cannot stick with the topic. HARD to follow in lectures. Tests are entirely too hard for material. No curve and no A's in class. It takes months to get assignments back, she has lots of excuses for not returning them in a timely fashion. She comes across as a know-it-all with little real interest in listening to others. Skip this one.
