Professor Elissondo is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. She really wants you to succeed. She tries to get you to use Spanish that is relevant to your own life and often does so in a comical way. The work load was very fair. Homework, tests, and a couple of short essays. I would definitely recommend her.

Nicest professor I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Wants everyone to major/minor in spanish. Never penalizes you for being wrong. ALWAYS there for extra help. Be ready to put in some work but her tests are super easy. She tells you exactly what's going to be on them. Genuinely cares about her students and wants everyone to do well. Take her!!!

She is an extremely good professor. Her tests are easy, she explains everything thoroughly and truly wants you to succeed in her class. She has supportive, LOVES her profession and comes to class every day wanting to teach. The subjects she teaches aren't always easy to understand but she walks you through things step by step.

Best teacher I have ever had. She is enormously helpful, and goes out of her way to help all of her students understand and succeed with the Spanish language. She motivates you to do better and offers a lot of support no matter how good or bad you are at Spanish. I love how encouraging she is with non-native speakers!!

Elissondo is an amazing woman and professor. She makes you work hard and motivates you. She pushes you and will hunt you down until you reach the top. She is powerful, smart, sweet, hard working and one of the most amazing people I've evr met. She gives you tough love and makes you work hard, but it's only because she cares. She is wondeful!

This is hands-down one of the best Spanish Professors at WSC! She's extremely passionate about her work, takes the time to know you, is always available after-school & answers her e-mail quickly. She's strict on attendance and her test are extremely easy (she gives you exactly what's going to be on it as a study guide). :)

I absolutely love this teacher! ive had her for many classes and an independent study..she is so passionate about her culture and history and therefore her classes are interesting. She's not an easy teacher, but she is always available for help so take advantage of that! super flexible, and truely wants to see students do well and learn! amazing!!

She is a great professor. She speaks a lot of Spanish very quickly, but asks if you understand her. If you don't, tell her and she will explain. I learned a lot quickly in her class. If you do the work, pay attention and seek the help she readily offers, you will love this class. Discussions on Latin American cult are riveting. Very Enthusiastic.
