Comment:
I enjoyed Gundy's class. He had a dry humor that I personally thought was hilarious. He explained all the material and there weren't any surprises. The group project involved writing an employee handbook for a client. I was paired with the worst partner in the history of bad partners, so I wrote the handbook myself and received an A in the class.

This class was taught online, and it wasn't easy. There are lots of homework and 3 exams, group project, and discussion boards. Easy to pass if you do all the Homework and he uses the system where your grade will be based on how others do in class so its always higher than what you would normally have earned for the class.

He was a great professor! Always kind and quick to respond to emails if we ever had any questions. This was the first HR class I have ever taken and he definitely made it easy to understand and really cares about his students. GREAT professor!

Lectures can be dry and boring but all of the important information is there. Tests are based on lecture questions and book questions so you must read and attend class. The final group project is easy if you have a good group.

Comment:
He's almost as bad as old man Donald Holley. The tests are written in vague and strange ways that seem to have little relevance to the lecture or book. There is no guidance to the semester project, which is fine, expect it gets graded like you should have known what he expected. My advice? Skip class, read the text and hope for a kind grade curve.

Gundar makes sure he uses his time to tell you about how he is the boss, president or chair member of this and that. He does however not use his time to teach you anything of use. It's possible he is great at human resources work but he is unable to transfer any practical knowledge. I would not let him watch my cat.

He's odd. His humor, lectures, teaching methods, and the stories he shares are all terrible. I took human resource management and it felt like an introductory class to Lithuanian customs and courtesies. If i had to sum up his class in one word: Lifeless. You're better off taking it from a professor who doesn't teach like he's dead inside.

If you are not an HR major do not take this class from Gundy. His lectures are very dry and his humor is one that only an HR major would appreciate. This is because all HR Major's are boring as h*ll.

Gundy is a good guy and really passionate about his subject. His lectures are very boring. He tries to make it exciting by doing test reviews by playing jeapordy but his prizes are lame. There is no need to come to class as long as you read the book and complete your project.

Dr. Kaupins is a great teacher and the class is so easy..he can get a bit boring but he tries to make the lecture interesting. Tests are multiple choice, questions come from textbook/lecture. Overall good

He is a good teacher, but yes, he can a bit boring, but I found him a bit arrogant, he reminds the class about 100 times that he is the chairman of something at BSU and how smart he is.....Go to class and do the project, you will pass!

He's a good teacher and very helpful. Tests focus too much on things to remember like "this is the most common discrimination lawsuit" or whatever, less on practical applications that would actually be useful. He is definitely out to make you succeed though, in class and in the profession, so I would recommend Kaupins.
