Took this class in summer. He is a great prof. You will not have a problem paying attention in his class. He brings in wooden models that he creates that are a good distraction b/w topics. Know your definitions! He gives hints like "this is my fav proof/theorem/definition" for an upcoming exam.

I am honest with his rating. Took in summer and he was horrible. Flirty with females and rude to guys asking questions after class. Exam was double the length of regular session and quizes were quite challenging. This is an A course ppl say, with him it's a C+ course. I got A in calculus too. He is obsessed with definitions. I suggest go other prof

His bark is worse than his bite and he will push you very hard. Lots of proofs and definitions on tests. Not very clear in his lectures (I had to resort to Grant's). His exams are straightforward, but because he does such a bad job explaining the concepts, they are still difficult. Condescending and rude to students in class (but is better 1 on 1).

I thought he was great. He was a very tough teacher but made you learn your stuff. All my other algebra courses are easier because I took this one. He's also really helpful when it comes to office hours. He even scheduled extra study times for our final.

Man, this guy teaches math too. Look out, do NOT take this prof. Run for your life because he is sure to screw it up. Makes Linear Algebra 2 ten times harder than it actually is. Please listen. Run!!!!
