Should not be a graphic design teacher. She has a degree in psychology also. She incorporates psychology into all of the projects. Its frustrating because you go to art school to build a portfolio, and her projects are useless. The school unfortunately thinks she offers a good perspective, but it really just isn't in the interest of graphic design.

She emphasizes the fact that graphic designers are constantly working on multiple assignments by assigning multiple things at once. The projects also have little to do with the major. The outcome of the projects are also unclear. She says its her teaching style, but honestly chances are you won't wind up with anything worthy of being in a portfolio

she is the most influential teacher in my life. from her teaching, I learned how to inspire myself, where to get the motivation for creation, also understand live from an artistic and design perspective.

She was overall a good professor because she cared about student progress, had a warm, caring personality and had high expectations of her students. There were some moments of confusion with assignments and critiques were sometimes a little unstructured and wandering but in general I liked her very much.

Great prof, very hippy but the vegetable project was alright. Out of the 3 professor rotation she is the one where you will have the most spare time.

Would often show up late or cancel class. Seemed like she showed up for the paycheck, and would tend to critique work based upon her current emotional status. I did not take much away from the class, which means a lot considering I paid over 800$ for it. Skip it unless you want an easy grade.

Helped enormously to realize that it's not about the final artwork, but rather about what you learn on the way. With the approach that usually gets implemented no earlier than a graduate school, she teaches not the actual subject, but ways to study it - and in the future that's most helpful.

this women is a hippy don't let anyone tell you otherwise. if you want to be "one" with nature and spend hours talking about your experience the next day in class, shes the teacher for you. personaly i'd rather stab myself in the retina.
